A Part of Finance

The Purchasing Department is a unit of the Division of Business Affairs reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance. The Purchasing Department is responsible for procuring goods and services, contracting and the PCard program.

The Purchasing Department supports the central mission of the University by providing efficient and effective procurement processes in accordance with applicable State and University policies and procedures. We strive to accomplish these goals as economically as possible, within acceptable standards of quality and service, while utilizing professional ethics and best business practices throughout the entire procurement cycle. The Purchasing Department operates under the guiding principles of the Division of Business Affairs: Employee Engagement, Customer Service and Responsible Stewardship.
